About Casa Helotes Senior Center

Casa Helotes was founded in 1986 by a small group of women in Sigma Pi chapter of ESA International, who previously prepared and delivered meals to seniors on their own. The vision was for a central location to prepare and serve hot meal to senior citizens as well as provide a safe gathering place to allow senior citizens the opportunity to stay engaged in their community. The group obtained funding for the current facility and equipment through AACOG, private donations and fundraising activities.
